Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 3 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of August 14th, 2022 through August 21st, 2022.

Martin, Morrison- On August 14, 2022, Martin Morrison, Springfield, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Polk County warrant for Fail to Appear. The bond was set at $300 cash only.

Nance, Jerry- On August 15, 2022, Jerry Nance, Collins, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for DWI-Aggravated, Leaving the Scene of an Accident- Physical Injury. The bond was set at $7,500 cash or surety. The warrant was issued and Jerry turned himself into the Sheriff's office and bonded on the warrant.

Peltier, Deven- On August 19, 2022, Deven Peltier, Collins, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on charges of Domestic Assault 2nd and 3rd degree. The arrest came from a call for service in reference to a domestic assault that occurred. A warrant was issued and the bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Greathouse, Jennifer- On August 20, 2022, Jennifer Greathouse, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Trespassing 1st Degree, Property Damage 2nd Degree. The arrest came from a call for service for a possible Burglary. Jennifer was booked and released pending formal charges.

Williams, Rionna- On August 21, 2022, Rionna Williams, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County deputies on a Cass County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $100 cash only.
