Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 7 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of July 12th, 2022 through July 19th, 2022.

Obryan. Michael- On July 13, 2022, Michael Obyran, 64, Fayetteville, was arrested by Lawrence County and pick up by St. Clair County deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Driving While Revoked or Suspended, Trespassing 1st. The bond amount is $12,000 cash only.

Stanley, Lucas- On July 13, 2022, Lucas Stanley 32, Adrian, was arrested by Bates County and picked up by St. Clair County on a St. Clair County warrant for Fishing Without a Permit. The bond amount is $242.00.

Ribby, Matthew- On July 13, 2022. Matthew Ribby, 34, Lowry City, was arrested by Cass County and picked up by St. Clair County deputies on a St. Clair County warrant. Non Support-More than 12 months. The bond is set at $1000.00 cash only.

Foiles, Michael- On July 17, 2022, Michael Foiles, 63, Independence, was arrested by St. Clair County Sheriff's Office on two Platte County Warrants for Fail to Appear. The bond is set at $367.00. Michael was also arrested on possession of a controlled substance Except for 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. This arrest was made after a traffic stop was initiated for speeding. A probable cause search was conducted and suspected methamphetamine paraphernalia was located.
