Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 7 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of July 4th, 2022 through July 11th, 2022.

Oehring, Clinton- On July 4, 2022, Clinton Oehring, 31, Osceola, was arrested by Henry County deputies and picked up by St. Clair County deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Burglary 2nd and Property Damage 2nd. The bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety.

Murphy, Darin- On July 6, 2022, Darin Murphy, 48, Elkland, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies, on a St. Clair County Warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, Unlawful Use of Weapon - Subsection 11 - Possession Weapon and Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Prior drug Offense. Bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.

Kalberloh, Kendrick- On July 7, 2022, Kendrick Kalberloh, 36, Lowry City, was arrested by St. Clair County deputies on a Henry County warrant for Receiving Stolen Property. The bond amount is $10,000 cash or surety.

Clegg, Shawn- On July 7, 2022, Shawn Clegg, 37, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Henry County warrant for Driving while Revoked or Suspended. Bond is set at $250 cash or surety.

Bray, Robert- On July, 8, 2022, Robert Bray, 66, Collins, was arrest by St. Clair County Deputies on charges of Domestic Assault 1st degree-serious physical injury, Kidnapping 1st degree, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use Of A Weapon. The arrest was made after deputies were dispatched to a domestic. When deputies arrived on scene, the victim stated she was assaulted and was forced not to leave the residence. Robert is being held on a no bond warrant.

Dozier, Terry- On July, 8, 2022, Terry Dozier, Lowry City, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on the charge DWI. The arrest came from a traffic stop for speed. Deputies smelled the odor of intoxicants emitting from Terry. Field Sobriety testing was conducted and Terry showed the signs of being intoxicated.

Riggs, James- July 7, 2022, James Riggs, 31, Eldorado Springs, was arrested by Cedar County deputies and picked up by St. Clair County deputies on a St. Clair County Writ for property damage.
