Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 5 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of April 5th, 2022 through April 11th, 2022.

Schofield, Johnathan- On April 7, 2022, Jonathan Schofield , 43, Kearney, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on multiple warrants from St. Clair County, Johnson County, Clay County and Probation and Parole. Schofield was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for Driving While Revoked ($5,000.00 bond), a Johnson County warrant for Stealing ($3,000.00 bond), a Probation and Parole warrant for Probation and Parole Violation (no bond), and a Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear (no bond).

Heuser, Crystal- On April 7, 2022, Crystal Heuser, 40, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Bolivar PD warrant for Failure to Appear, and Failure to Yield. Heuser was also arrested on a warrant out of El Dorado Springs for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $316.00 cash or surety.

Roberts, Aaron- On April 8, 2022, Aaron Roberts, 45, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. The bond was set at $16,000.00 cash only.

Hardy, Jack- On April 9, 2022, Jack Hardy, 41, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and Resisting Arrest. The arrest was made after deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a domestic dispute. Deputies made contact with the victim and transported Hardy to the St. Clair County Jail where he was placed under a 24 hour hold. While Hardy was in custody of the St. Clair County Jail, he was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, and Resisting Arrest. The bond was set at $20,000.00 cash or surety.

Crowl, Marvin- On April 9, 2022, Marvin Crowl, arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a St. Clair County warrant for Violation of an Order of Protection. The bond was set at $2,500.00 cash or surety.

Stolen Property in Collins

On April 10, 2022 deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a stolen 5th Wheel Travel Trailer. Upon making contact with the owner of the property, they reported that the trailer was stolen sometime between April 9th and April 10th. Deputies investigated the area where the trailer was located and took photos of the tire marks. They took a report of the incident and the investigation is still ongoing.
