Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 4 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of March 15th, 2022 through March 21st, 2022.

Kukharets, Anatoly- On March 15, 2022, Anatoly Kukharets, 22, Sedalia, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on a Clark County warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $350.00 cash only.

Keith, Porsche- On March 16, 2022, Porsche Keith, 30, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies on St. Clair County warrants for Probation Revocation ($5,000.00 bond, cash only), Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia ($15,000.00 bond, cash or surety), Felony charges of Failure to Appear ($7,500.00 bond, cash only), and Felony charges of Failure to Appear ($5,000.00 cash only).

Nixon, Michael- On March 18, 2022, Michael Nixon, 42, Osceola, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Possession of a Controlled Substance. The arrest was made after deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was travelling over the posted speed limit. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, deputies could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Deputies searched the vehicle and located illegal substances.

Malloy, Destry- On March 21, 2022, Destry Malloy, 33, Collins, was arrested by St. Clair County Deputies for Trespassing and Property Damage. The arrest was made after deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a hay yard being caught on fire. When deputies made contact with the victim, he stated that someone trespassed on his property and caught his hay bales on fire. Deputies located Malloy and upon further investigation, he was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Clair County jail.

Stolen Property in Roscoe

            On March 16th, 2022, deputies responded to a call for service in regards to stolen property at the Chopper Stopper Grill in Roscoe, MO. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the victim who stated that two fishing rods were stolen out of the bed of her boyfriend's truck on March 15th, 2022. The two Bass Pro Shops snagging rods were white in color and approximately 6 feet in length. They were valued at approximately $120.00 each. A report was taken and the investigation is still ongoing.
