Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 9 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 21st, 2021 through December 27th, 2021.

Fleischer, David- On December 21, 2021, David Fleischer, 35, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for felony charges of Non Support. The bond was set at $1,000.00 cash only.

Lassiter, Dustin- On December 21, 2021, Dustin Lassiter, 36, Lees Summit, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a warrant out of Johnson County, Kansas, for felony charges of Non Support. There was no bond set.

Cochran, Tricia- On December 21, 2021, Tricia Cochran 47, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, and Owner/ Operator Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. The bond was set at $523.00 cash only.

Rhodes, Austin- On December 22, 2021, Austin Rhodes, 20, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Clinton Police Department warrant for Failure to Appear. The bond was set at $500.00 cash or surety.

Crowl, Doug- On December 22, 2021, Doug Crowl, 66, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy for Violation of an Order of Protection. The arrest was made after deputies responded to a call for service in regards to someone violating an order of protection and making threats.

Evans, Paul- On December 23, 2021, Paul Evans, 32, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for First Degree trespassing. The arrest was made after deputies responded to a call in regards to an armed suspect trespassing. After Evans was in custody at the St. Clair County jail, a warrant was issued. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety.

McKinney, David- On December 23, 2021, David McKinney, 40, Appleton City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a warrant out of St. Clair County for Owner/ Operator Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid License. The bonds were set at $226.00 and $188.00, both cash only. McKinney was also arrested on a Henry County Warrant for Driving While Revoked. The bond was set at $350.00 cash or surety.

Schoonover, Bryan- On December 23, 2021, Bryan Schoonover, 47, Leavenworth, Kansas, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for Second Degree Burglary. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety.  

Thompson, Jeremy- On December 26, 2021, Jeremy Thompson, 47, Scottsboro, Alabama, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy for Third Degree Domestic Assault. The arrest was made after deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a domestic dispute.
