Text Caster 

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made 5 arrests and took multiple reports during the week of November 30th, 2021 through December 6th, 2021.

Lesmeister, Terry- On December 2, 2021, Terry Lesmeister, 30, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for Probation violation. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety.

Debiew, Michael- On December 2, 2021, Michael Debiew, 45, Grandview, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on multiple St. Clair County warrants for Resisting Arrest, Driving While Revoked, Fleeing the Scene, and Failure to Register and Insure a Motor Vehicle. The bonds were set at $750.00 cash only and $10,000.00 cash or surety.

Landis, James- On December 3, 2021, James Landis, 32, Roscoe, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Jackson County warrant for Possession of Stolen property. The bond was set at $5,500.00.

Howe, Natalie- On December 3, 2021, Natalie Howe, 40, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Hurr, Jakob- On December 6, 2021, Jakob Hurr, 31, Warsaw, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Benton County warrant for Possession of Amphetamine. The bond was set at $20,000.00 cash or surety.

Stolen Property in Shell City

            On November 6, 2021, deputies responded to a call for service in reference to stolen property. Upon making contact with the victim, he stated that he was missing an orange in color Honda ATV Rancher 4x4. The victim reported that the ATV was last seen on December 5, 2021. A report was taken and the investigation is still ongoing.
