Text Caster

 

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests

 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made six arrests and took multiple reports during the week of July 20th, 2021 through July 26th, 2021.

 

Vance, Megan - On July 20th, Megan Vance, 24, Collins, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy, at the Probation and Parole Office, on two Polk County Failure to Appear warrants, and on a St. Clair County warrant for two counts of a Felony D charge for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and a Misdemeanor Class A charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Prior Drug Offense. Megan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $15,000.00 cash or surety.

The original arrest stems from an investigation done in Collins, back in January of 2021, in which Megan was found at a residence, in possession of marijuana paraphernalia, needles that tested positive for methamphetamine, and a quantity of pills that were noted to be a controlled substance.

 

Hill, Cher'Bria - On July 20th, Cherbria Hill, 21, Springfield, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended - 1st Degree, and a charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child - 2nd Degree. Cherbria was transported to the St. Clair County Jail, where she was book and released.

The arrest was made when the vehicle Cher'Bria was the driver of, was stopped by a St. Clair County deputy for a speeding violation. Upon making contact with Cher'Bria, the deputy noted that two children, one five years of age and the other being one year of age, were sitting in the back seat of the vehicle without a booster seat or seat belt on. At this time, MULES/NCIC reported that Cher'Bria had a revoked license, and she was taken into custody for the aforementioned charges.

 

Eaton, Jerry - On July 21st, Jerry Eaton, 49, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Hickory County Failure to Appear Misdemeanor warrant. Jerry was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $500.00 cash or surety.

 

Roberts, Aaron - On July 22nd, Aaron Roberts, 45, El Dorado Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear warrant for the original charge of Domestic Assault - 4th Degree - 1st or 2nd Offense, and a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony D charge for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Aaron was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at a total of $15,000.00 cash or surety.

 

Fuelling, Canaan - On July 26th, Canaan Fuelling, 24, Hartville, was arrested by Laclede County Sheriff's Office on a St. Clair County warrant for Misdemeanor Class A charge of Non-Support. Canaan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $1,000.00 cash only.

 

Gonzales, Kayne - On July 26th, Kayne Gonzales, 26, Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for Domestic Assault - 2nd Degree. Kayne was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and was booked and released, pending formal charges.

The arrest was made when St. Clair County deputies responded to Lowry City in reference to a disturbance that had occurred at a different location. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with Kayne, who reported that he and the victim had got into an argument, and that he wanted his clothing. Upon making contact with the victim, it was reported that Kayne had struck him/her with a closed fist, multiple times, before leaving the house.

 

 

Stealing in Rockville 

On July 23rd, a St. Clair County deputy responded via telephone to a call for service in regards to stolen property. Upon contacting the victim, it was reported that on Thursday, July 22nd, 2021, at 8:30 p.m., the victim discovered his/her 72 inch, black in color, Brush Grappler, was missing. The estimated value of the stolen property was valued at $3,200.00.

 

Burglary in Appleton City 

On July 27th, a St. Clair County deputy responded to Beech Street, in Appleton City, in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the victim whom reported that on July 25th, it was discovered that the victim's garage door had been picked open. Further investigation showed that the victim was missing a money bag containing $6,500.00 in cash.
