Text Caster

 

Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Arrests

 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made ten arrests and took multiple reports during the week of May 18th, 2021 through May 24th, 2021.

 

Jessica Beard, Mary Toney, and Christopher Jackson - On May 19th, 2021, Jessica Beard (29, El Dorado Springs), Mary Toney (46, Osceola), and Christopher Jackson (42, Osceola), were all arrested by St. Clair County Deputies. Jessica Beard and Mary Toney were both arrested for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and were booked and released pending formal charges. Christopher Jackson was arrested for a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, a Misdemeanor charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Prior Drug Offense, and a Misdemeanor charge of Stealing. Christopher's bond was set at $10,000.00 cash only.

The arrest was made when St. Clair County deputies responded to a residence Osceola in reference to a stealing from Do It Best Hardware. Upon arrival, the deputies the deputies conducted a search of both the vehicle and the residence. The search of the vehicle discovered the tags of the items stolen from Do It Best, and a search of the residence including finding a socket believed to be stolen from Do It Best, marijuana paraphernalia, a small container with THC wax inside, a small container with a quantity of a white substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, and a lock box that K-9 Officer Havik alerted to, which contained marijuana paraphernalia and marijuana wax.

 

 

Masters, Alexzander - On May 19th, Alexzander Masters, 22, Independence, was arrested at the St. Clair County Courthouse for a St. Clair County Failure to Appear Infraction/Municipal Ordinance Warrant. Alexzander was booked and released, pending formal charges.

 

Nicewarner, Zachory - On May 20th, Zachory Nicewarner, 22, Mansfield, was arrested by Wright County Sheriff's Office on three Failure to Appear Traffic Warrants out of St. Clair County. Zachory was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $869.00 cash only.

 

Moore, Alexandria - On May 21th, Alexandria Moore, 27, Clinton, was arrested by Henry County Sheriff's Office for four Failure to Appear Traffic Warrants out of St. Clair County. Alexandria was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $600.00 cash only.

 

Workman, Billie - On May 21st, Billie Workman, 48, Liberty, was arrested by Clay County Sheriff's Office on a Failure to Appear Felony Warrant out of St. Clair County, with the original charges being Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Amphetamine or Methamphetamine. Billie was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $7,500.00 cash or surety.

 

Seth and Jonathan Parker - On May 22nd, Seth Parker (22, Deepwater), and Jonathan Parker (49, Osceola) were both arrested by St. Clair County Deputies. Seth Parker was arrested on a St. Clair County Warrant for a Felony charge of Burglary - 1st Degree, and a Felony charge of Assault - 2nd Degree, and his bond was set at $20,000.00 cash or surety. Jonathan Parker was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Burglary - 1st Degree, and a Felony charge of Assault - 2nd Degree, and his bond was set at $20,000.00 cash or surety.

The arrests were made when St. Clair County deputies responded to Appleton Street in Osceola in regards to an assault. Upon arrival, the deputies spoke with the victim, whom was bleeding from the left side of their head, and reported that Seth and Jonathon Parker had assaulted him outside, and then chased him into his residence, continuing to assault him.

 

Whitlock, Aaron - On May 24th, Aaron Whitlock, 44, Kansas, was arrested by Topeka, Kansas Sheriff's Office on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear Felony Warrant, with the original charge being Passing a Bad Check. Aaron was transferred to the St. Clair County Jail and the total bond was set at $500.00.

 

Assist Other Agency/Injured Officer 

On Thursday, May 20, 2021 at approximately 1800 hours, Osceola Police Department obtained a search warrant for narcotics on an apartment in Osceola, Missouri.  Detective Colby Mooney and Deputies from the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office assisted the Police Department.

While searching the apartment for narcotics, a St. Clair County Deputy was stuck with an open hypodermic needle.  The suspects known to use the hypodermic needles were cooperative in seeking medical assistance for blood work to assist in the St. Clair County Deputy's treatment. 

Methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were found inside the apartment. 

Charges will be sought on two identified suspects.  Pending charges were filed on Lucas J. Hetherington of Montrose, Mo. for trespassing, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Lucas is currently being held in the St. Clair County Jail on a $20,000 cash/surety bond warrant.
