The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office Administrative
Staff is comprised of several people who assist the
Sheriff with the daily operations of the office.

Patrol Captain Charles Hodges

Captain Hodges.jpg"I am a US Army Combat veteran; I began my career in law enforcement in 1990 as a Military Police Officer.  In 1992, I attended the police academy at Central Missouri State University and began my civilian law enforcement career.  I have worked at several agencies throughout Missouri.  In my career I have worked in almost every aspect of the law enforcement field. I have also worked as Chief of Police in a city in Southwest Missouri.  I came to St. Clair County Sheriff's Office in 2013 and worked as a patrol deputy.  In 2014, I left for a short time and returned in 2015.  After returning to St. Clair County, I have worked my way up through the ranks.  I was instrumental in the development and training of the Special Response Team.   I look forward to a long career with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office. I will do my best to continue to make this agency a professional environment and a great place to work."
