The complete St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office  News Release Feb. 19-26, 2018

            Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made 10 arrests, took a stealing report, and a                                                      dog attack report during the week of Feb. 19-26, 2018.

                                                                      Warrant Arrests
       

Michael Mullen Jr.

     Michael Mullen Jr.- On Feb. 26, Michael Mullen Jr., 38, Holden, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failure to appear in court on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.
     The charges stem from an incident on May 2, 2017 when a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Mullen was a passenger in on Highway D and North Center Road, Lowry City. During the investigation, cellophane from a cigarette wrapper containing a crystalline residue that field tested positive for methamphetamine was located.  Mullen made admissions the residue belonged to him and also produced an unused syringe from his sock.
       

Sarah Kamm

     Sarah Kamm- On Feb. 25, Sarah Kamm, 35, Columbus, NE, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class E felony possession of a controlled substance, class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and a class D misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 19 grams or less. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
     The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to SE 1025 Road about a car that was stuck in a ditch. Deputies arrived and made contact with Kamm, who was in a field picking up rocks. The deputies asked her to empty her pockets and she did so willingly. A deputy observed a large bulge and what looked like to be a glass pipe in her outside coat pocket. Upon further investigation, a glass pipe was found in her coat pocket with some residue in it. Kamm admitted the pipe was hers. A search of her vehicle revealed a cellophane wrapper with some marijuana in it.
       

Justin Huffines

     Justin Huffines- On Feb. 24, Justin Huffines, 25, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a class E felony of resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing-creating a substantial risk or serious injury or death to any person. Huffines also has a probation violation warrant out of Platte County for a class E felony for resisting arrest. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only.
     The arrest comes after Henry County dispatch notified St. Clair County dispatch of a failing to yield vehicle that was entering St. Clair County. Deputies were staged along Highway 13 to try and get the motorcycle to stop. Several attempts were made to get the driver to stop. During a rolling roadblock, the driver of the motorcycle hit the left quarter panel of the patrol car, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle and wreck it in the grass median on Highway 13. Huffines was transported to a hospital to be medically cleared.
       

Timmie Green

     Timmie Green- On Feb. 23, Timmie Green, 32, Clinton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and a class B misdemeanor trespassing in the first degree. Green was booked and released pending formal charges.
     The arrest comes after a homeowner called to complain about a vehicle driving through her yard and getting stuck in the mud. A St. Clair County deputy arrived on scene and made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Green was identified as the driver, and appeared to be under the influence.
         

Naomi Damon

     Naomi Damon- On Feb. 23, Naomi Damon, 32, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class B misdemeanor of trespassing in the first degree. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
     Damon was the passenger in the vehicle that was driven by Timmie Green. She admitted to the deputy that she had a baggie of methamphetamines stuffed into the crotch of her pants. The baggie was recovered at the St. Clair County Jail during a search of her person.
         

Timothy Kreisler

     Timothy Kreisler- On Feb. 23, Timothy Kreisler, 49, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with two class D felonies of possession of a controlled substance, class D misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less, and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
         

Veronica Salehi

     Veronica Salehi- On Feb. 23, Veronica Salehi, 40, Stockton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Polk County warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a probation violation. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
         

Evette Wright

     Evette Wright- On Feb. 21, Evette Wight, 36, Kansas City, was arrested on St. Clair County warrants charging her with a class A misdemeanor possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, an unclassified misdemeanor of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, and an unclassified misdemeanor for no insurance. Total bond is set at $1013.50 cash only.
     The charges come from the Missouri State Highway Patrol after a traffic stop on Dec. 18, 2016.
         

Colt Perry

     Colt Perry- On Feb. 20, Colt Perry, 26, Clinton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Pulaski County warrant charging him with a class D felony of property damage in the first degree. This is a no bond warrant.
         

Michael Allen

     Michael Allen- On Feb. 20, Michael Allen, 41, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony unlawful possession of a firearm, a class E felony of driving while revoked, and a class D misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less. Total bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
     The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on vehicle Allen was driving.

                                                              Traps Stolen in Osceola
            On Feb. 19, a St. Clair County deputy met with Christopher Hannah at the Sheriff’s Office in reference to his stolen traps.
            Hannah stated he had two traps stolen from the north side of the river bank near Crow’s Crossing. Hannah stated he and Robert Dutcher had checked the traps on Feb. 18, and when they came back the next day, the traps were gone.
            Hannah took the deputy to where the traps were and the deputy took pictures and collected evidence. Total estimated lost value is $86.45. A request for prosecution was filled out and signed.

                                                            Dog Attack in Appleton City
            On Feb. 21, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to South Burdette Street in Appleton City regarding an animal complaint.
            Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Aaron Mullen, who stated that two dogs killed one of their goats and injured another one. Mullen explained a white pit bull and a dark colored unknown type of dog, came onto their property, broke through the fence, and attacked their pygmy goats. As a result, one female died and another female was seriously injured. Mullen stated he did not know who owned the dogs.
            While the deputy was looking at the goats, the deputy was handed a cell phone and he spoke to Rebecca Mullen. She stated that she is the owner of the goats and would fill out a request for prosecution if needed.
            Rebecca Mullen stated she estimated the death of one animal and the injury to the other could cost approximately $400 to replace.
            The deputy explained to the Mullen’s, that St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office would take the initial report and then forward the incident to the Appleton City Police Department for further investigation.
