Incident Date: 2018-08-12

Additional Information

The arrest comes after a concerned citizen approached a St. Clair County deputy while he was sitting at Shelby’s Truck Stop in Lowry City on Aug. 12, 2018. The citizen informed the deputy that there was a female sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle that looked to be deceased.

The deputy proceeded to the location of the vehicle and observed a female sitting in the passenger seat with a leg hanging out of the car. The deputy observed the female breathing and woke her up.

After making sure she was okay, the deputy did a record check on Johnson and found that she has an active felony warrant out of Lafayette County. The deputy asked if she had anything illegal in her belongings. Johnson gave the deputy consent to search her things. During the search of Johnson’s purse a used glass pipe with a crystal like residue was found, along with a marijuana cigarette, and a small amount of marijuana. The pipe field tested positive for methamphetamine.
