The video show a customer pulling Chavarria from the store employee and getting her out from behind the counter. He then tries to block Chavarria and her father from coming behind the counter and was struck several times in the face. The video also show Chavarria grabbing items from the counter top and throwing them at the employee.

Chavarria had fled the scene in a vehicle. Another deputy tried to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle she was driving and she drove the car off the road into a ditch trying to avoid from getting stopped. Chavarria headed back into the parking lot of Alexander Farms BP and was boxed in by other deputies. Chavarria was taken into custody without further incidents.

Chavarria also has two warrants for failure to appear in court out of Greene County for a total bond of $2,000 cash or surety.
