Additional Information

The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle Edwards was driving for a traffic violation. A K9 unit was called to the scene to conduct an exterior sniff test of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle revealed a glass pipe and two plastic bags with a white crystal like residue. The plastic bags field tested positive for methamphetamine.
