The warrant comes after a traffic stop by a St. Clair County deputy on a vehicle that Roe was a passenger in. A K9 unit was called to the scene to do an exterior sniff test of the vehicle. The K9 did alert to the odor of narcotics. Roe admitted to the deputy that he had marijuana paraphernalia in his back pack. During a search of the vehicle the deputy recovered the items that Roe said were in his back pack. No other contraband was found.
