Additional Information

The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on June 2, 2017 when a deputy was dispatched to a careless driver traveling on Highway 13.  Information was learned the truck was at Shelby's, Lowry City, with the female driver sitting in the driver’s seat.
Once on scene the deputy noticed the vehicle running and Walter talking on the phone. During the investigation it was determined Walter’s speech was slurred.  She admitted to taking a Hydrocodone about 45 minutes prior to the contact with the deputy.

A pill bottle with most of the label removed and no name on it was located with four and a half pills inside. The pills were identified as Hydrocodone. Another pill bottle with no label was found. Inside the bottle were eight pills identified as Oxycodone. Neither pill bottle had a name nor any information about what should be inside the pill bottle.  A check revealed Walters’ driver’s license is also suspended. She was taken into custody and transported to the St. Clair County Jail.
