April 14, 2017-Guilty plea. On Count I: Thomas sentenced to one year in St. Clair County Jail with the execution of sentence suspended. Thomas was placed on unsupervised probation for two years and ordered to serve 48 hours shock detention in St. Clair County Jail beginning 5/19/2017

Count II: Thomas was sentenced to one year in St. Clair County Jail with execution of sentence suspended. Thomas was placed on unsupervised probation for 2 years.

Additional Information

The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation on Aug. 26, when a deputy located a vehicle parked off the roadway on land belonging to the Missouri Department of Conservation on SW E Highway. Thomas was identified as the driver of the vehicle and was located in a corn field a short distance away. During the investigation a glass pipe with burnt marijuana residue was located inside his vehicle.  A misdemeanor amount of marijuana and three pipes with marijuana residue were also located in the glove compartment of the vehicle. Thomas was booked and later released pending the formal charges. The warrant was issued Dec. 14.
