Nov. 10, 2016 Bench Trial-Court find Harper guilty. Sentencing set for Jan. 3, 2017
Jan. 3, 2017- Counts one and two Harper was sentenced to serve seven years in the Missouri Deptartment of Corrections on each count with the sentences to be served concurrent with each other. The execution of sentence was suspended and Harper was \placed on supervised probation for five years. He was ordered to pay $2953.00 in restitution.

Additional Information

Count one stems from an incident on May 30 when Harper allegedly assaulted a female victim during an argument. Harper allegedly grabbed the female by her arms and threw her down onto a bed and put his hands around her neck and squeezed tightly, choking her.

Count two stems from an incident on May 28 when Harper allegedly broke into a residence and assaulted a female victim. The prosecutor added the charge based  on information learned during the preliminary hearing.
