Count III-Defendant sentenced to 6 months in St. Clair County Jail to be served concurrent with sentence on Count I

Additional Information

The charges stem from an investigation in the early morning hours on Jan. 28, when St. Clair County deputies responded to a call of a man with an axe outside a residence on East Fifth Street, Lowry City. Victims reported they were woke up by the sound of someone banging on their house. They got up and they could see a man, later identified as Barker, in their yard holding an axe and yelling at them. Barker was allegedly swinging the axe around and hit the handle on their front deck. He left on foot. Deputies later made contact with Barker who admitted being in the yard and having an axe.
